Our “Get to Know your Councillor” series continues, as SABVC got a chance to catch up with another one of our student leaders to learn what makes them tick, and how their role with SABVC has impacted their post-secondary experience.
This week our focus is on Sara Naserifar, who currently sits on council as the representative from the School of Global Access.
Q: How has being a councillor enriched your post-secondary experience?
A: I think problem- solving and critical thinking are the most important skills that will be developed.
Q: What inspired you to get involved with student government?

I have personally experienced this transition into a whole new life in Canada. I would love to share my experience with other students to pave their way to be successful.
Q: What’s the first place you want to visit after the pandemic?
A: I would love to go to Iran (my backcountry) and visit my parents.
