Get To Know Your Executive Committee

We asked your new Student Executive Committee some questions to help you get to know them better! Read below to see what they had to say.

Director of Internal Affairs - Taiani Bressan

What is your current program and year of study?

I am in the second term of my first year of the Business Administration Diploma.

What made you decide to run for the position of Director of Internal Affairs?

In my past professional experiences, I loved to listen to and support my peers to help them achieve the best results possible. Over time, I upgraded my human abilities with energetic healing courses which taught me how to look up to people with a holistic approach. After coming to know the position of Director of Internal Affairs, I decided that it would be a great way to help students to enhance their academic life experience.

What excites you about the upcoming school year?

I am excited to get back to life on campus with hopefully no more interruptions due to Covid. Being in person at BVC is an amazing way to make friends, work better on assignments, communicate with instructors, and join SABVC events to strengthen the student community.

What is something you enjoy doing in your free time?

I am an outsider, so anything that involves being close to nature is my thing! My husband and I love to go hiking and we want to try camping as well! I also practice yoga and meditation in my spare time - it is interesting how these practices can help us to see life through other perspectives.

Director of Finance - Juliana Constantino

What is your current program and year of study?

I am in my second year of Business Administration Diploma with a Human Resources Major.

What made you decide to run for the position of Director of Finance?

I had a great experience at SABVC as a student councillor from the Chiu School of Business last year, and I learned how important SABVC is for all members. I want to keep supporting students, bringing new ideas, and participating in new projects as well as take the opportunity to share my knowledge from previous experiences and contribute further to the organization.

What excites you about the upcoming school year?

I am glad we are back on campus, where students can truly enjoy all that SABVC has to offer without too many restrictions. The face-to-face classroom experience with instructors and other students is very enriching and it is a great opportunity to get to know more people and learn about different cultures.

What is something you enjoy doing in your free time?

I love going out with my family (my husband and my son), going to church, meeting friends (getting to know new people also), going to the lake during the summer or enjoying the snow - yes I love the snow!

Board of Governors Representative - Dorothy Man

What is your current program and year of study?

I am currently in my first year of Digital Design.

What made you decide to run for the position of Board of Governors Representative?

I wanted to run for the Board of Governors Representative positions to serve all BVC students and be responsible for communicating effectively with the College on behalf of you.

What excites you about the upcoming school year?

I am excited to support, provide services to, and communicate with students.

What is something you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time I enjoy doing yoga, cooking, and hiking.
