We are excited to announce our Student Book Fair event this September, where current students or alumni can buy, sell, or trade your old books and textbooks to help your fellow students. If you’re looking to clear out your bookshelf or support new students, this is your chance to make a difference.

Date: September 9-10, 2024

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Location: South Campus, 2nd Floor, outside the SABVC Office

How You Can Get Involved

  • Donate Books

    • Have books you no longer need? Donate them to the fair and give someone else the chance to benefit from them. Your contributions can help fellow students save on their educational expenses.

  • Sell Your Books

    • If you’re a student or alumni with textbooks or other books to sell, bring them along! We’ll be signing up sellers on September 9th outside the SABVC office. This is a great way to earn a little extra cash while helping out your peers.

During the Book Fair Event

On September 10, we’ll have tables set up across from the market where students can buy, sell, or trade books and textbooks. There will be a variety of options, from free books to those available for purchase. If you’re in need of textbooks for the upcoming semester or simply looking for a new read, you’re sure to find something that fits your needs.

Some Important Information:

  • This event is cash only.

  • You can sign up in advance if your planning to participate on this event, sign up link here: www.sabvc.ca/book-fair-signup

By joining the SABVC Student Book Fair, you’re helping yourself and supporting our SABVC community! We look forward to seeing you there!

The Students' Association of Bow Valley College is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Iyarhe Nakoda.

We are situated on land where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Mohkinstsis” which we now call the City of Calgary.

The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
