About the event

Welcome to Wellness Wednesday, a dedicated day each month where we promote the mental well-being of our student members. We understand the demands of academic life and the importance of striking a balance between learning and self-care. That's why we have curated a series of unique events and activities, each thoughtfully designed to help ease the struggles of mental health and promote mental wellbeing.

Our Wellness Wednesday events cover a wide range of interests and activities. It's an opportunity to take a break from your routine, de-stress, and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for mental health.

There's no need to register – just show up and take part in the activities that suit your interest. We're committed to providing you with a platform to relax and enjoy.

So, mark your calendars and make Wellness Wednesday a regular part of your campus life. Join us in fostering a community of healthy minds and fulfilled hearts.

See you there!

The Students' Association of Bow Valley College is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Iyarhe Nakoda.

We are situated on land where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Mohkinstsis” which we now call the City of Calgary.

The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
